Job summary

ASB Bank in Auckland is seeking a Product Solutions Manager in Business Banking to lead risk-based product management. You’ll own incidents, quantify affected customers, and drive remediation so outcomes are timely and fair for all clients.

You’ll partner with risk, compliance, legal, remediation and technology teams to shape product strategy, translate complex needs into clear requirements, and measure impact with data to deliver compliant, commercially strong products.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
• Ability to translate complex product issues into clear requirements and specifications

Responsibilities

• Lead structured analysis for product and risk-related change. Run workshops, gather requirements, and translate needs into actionable specifications.
• Manage risks and ensure compliance with New Zealand financial services regulations. Identify and mitigate emerging risks and shape incidents from discovery through resolution.
• Create and execute product strategies and development improvements. Provide insights to inform product improvements and simplification.
• Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes that meet stakeholder needs including senior leadership, customers, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and deliver at pace.
• Foster continuous improvement and coach team members to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Present compelling business cases and lead strategic analysis to communicate product strategy to senior management
