Job summary

Generate KiwiSaver Scheme in Auckland is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to oversee the accurate operation of discretionary investment portfolios and OCIO services. You will manage client accounts, onboarding, transfers and ongoing maintenance.

Collaborate with investment teams, custodians and external providers to ensure timely trading, rebalancing, reporting and compliance, while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and automate processes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, custody or wealth management operations.
• Experience supporting client account administration, cash and trade workflows, reconciliations or operational exception management.
• Ideally experience with model portfolio rebalancing, trade matching, settlement and portfolio transitions.
• Strong attention to data quality, documentation, controls and processing accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and escalation processes, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Administration: Manage client accounts, investment portfolios, onboarding, transfers and ongoing account maintenance.
• Trading & Rebalancing: Coordinate portfolio rebalancing, trade execution, settlements and reconciliations.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with investment teams, custodians, administrators and external providers.
• Monitoring & Risk: Monitor investment portfolios, identify discrepancies and support regulatory compliance.
• Reporting & Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate records, prepare operational reports and client reporting.
• Portfolio Changes: Coordinate portfolio transitions, investment changes and cash movements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and introduce automation.
