Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa - Department of Corrections is seeking an IT Programme Coordinator to join the Infrastructure & Digital Assets team. You will help deliver digital initiatives, coordinate governance, and manage plans, reporting and financial information.

Reporting to the Corporate Systems Manager, you will work with programme managers, coordinate meetings, monitor milestones, and maintain key documentation while collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to progress projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated programme coordination experience, with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including minute-taking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Visio.
• Knowledge of project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2) and Azure DevOps.
• Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, workshops and governance processes and maintain programme documentation.
• Track actions and milestones to keep projects on track.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to progress projects.
• Produce clear reports and presentations for governance.
• Support financial information and reporting for programmes.
