Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) in Wellington is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a major prison infrastructure programme. You will maintain plans, schedules and registers, prepare minutes and reports, and assist with risk tracking and status reporting.

You'll work with the Programme Manager, external advisers and the Asset Management Portfolio Management Office to keep documentation on track and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects or providing project administration.
• A valid NZ driver's licence is required.
• Terriffic organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• PRINCE2 Foundation or related qualification is useful.

The first phase of the project is complete, and we're now moving into the next stage of this multi-year programme. When finished, it will improve living conditions for people in prison and working conditions for our staff.As Project Coordinator, you will support the Programme Manager to keep the project running smoothly. You'll maintain workplans, schedules, timelines and registers, and prepare minutes, memos and reports. You'll help pull together project status reporting, track workstream risks and flag issues early.You'll also keep project files organised and make sure documents meet our standards, working closely with our Asset Management Portfolio Management Office. Day to day, you'll work with the project team and our external advisers.**Mōu | About you**You're organised, accurate and good at keeping several pieces of work moving at once.
