Job summary

Kaipara District Council is seeking a Digital Learning & Service Desk Lead to join the Information & Systems team across Dargaville and Mangawhai, delivering practical training and helping staff get the most from Microsoft 365 and approved tools. You’ll blend hands-on IT support with user-focused learning resources, create guides, and run workshops while travelling between sites.

A NZ driver licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital learning, training, technology adoption, IT support or business systems support.
• Experience creating learning resources, user guides or supporting documentation.
• Confidence delivering training, workshops or one-on-one support.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to explain technical information in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering practical digital learning resources, training sessions and workshops.
• Helping people make better use of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Supporting the adoption of approved digital tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Creating user guides, knowledge articles and self-service support resources.
• Providing first-line service desk support and identifying opportunities to improve the user experience.
