Job summary

Anderson Lloyd is a leading New Zealand law firm seeking a Learning & Capability Specialist to lift digital adoption and change across the firm. The role can be based in Auckland or Christchurch, with travel between offices as needed.

You will translate system changes into practical learning resources, onboard tools and support onboarding and core programmes. You’ll work with the Change & Capability Lead to uplift capability and drive adoption across practice groups.

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience as a lawyer or 2-4 years in a learning and development, digital adoption or related role
Strong interest in the intersection of people, technology and new ways of working
Familiarity with legal technology, AI-enabled tools and emerging digital practices
The ability to turn technical or process information into clear, practical and engaging learning materials
Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the confidence to support people at different capability levels
A practical, solutions-focused approach, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

Build confidence in the systems, digital tools and processes our people use every day
Translate change initiatives into practical learning and adoption support that embeds new ways of working
Coach and support teams as new systems and processes are introduced
Create clear, engaging and accessible learning resources, including guides, videos and e-learning
Partner with practice groups to understand their workflows and deliver relevant, targeted support
Contribute to onboarding and core learning programmes across the firm
