GIB® Plasterboard in Christchurch seeks a Despatch Operator to join the Hillsborough distribution team. The role involves unloading/loading and picking orders on a rotating shift (2 weeks mornings, 2 weeks afternoons) up to 50 hours per week between 6am and 10pm.
You will help ensure on-time, in-full deliveries of our products. You must hold a current forklift license and be safety-focused with strong teamwork and planning abilities.

We are looking for a Despatch Operator to join our Distribution Team in Hillsborough, Christchurch, based on a shift roster, rotating fortnightly (2 weeks morning, 2 weeks afternoon), up to a total of 50 hours per week between the hours of 6am and 10pm. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient distribution of our high-quality products to our valued customers. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide an efficient and accurate warehouse service including unloading trucks, loading trucks, and picking orders in accordance with customer requirements while maintaining In Full, On Time and In Spec (I.F.O.T.I.S).
We’re looking for a team member who is responsive to the needs of the team, has excellent communication skills and who has a positive attitude and passion for what they do to fit in with our current team.
