Job summary

GIB® Plasterboard in Christchurch seeks a Despatch Operator to join the Hillsborough distribution team. The role involves unloading/loading and picking orders on a rotating shift (2 weeks mornings, 2 weeks afternoons) up to 50 hours per week between 6am and 10pm.

You will help ensure on-time, in-full deliveries of our products. You must hold a current forklift license and be safety-focused with strong teamwork and planning abilities.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Experience loading/unloading high-risk product.
• Willing to work rotating shift pattern (mornings/afternoons).
• Willingness to undertake medical test.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and load trucks to meet schedules.
• Pick orders accurately to customer requirements.
• Maintain I.F.O.T.I.S standards for distribution.
• Support safe, efficient warehouse operations.
