Job summary

Vision for Education is the trusted MSP for ALP and seeks a dedicated DT Teacher to work across ALP secondary schools in County Durham. The role offers flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply opportunities for KS3 and KS4 classes.

You will deliver engaging DT lessons, support students to reach their potential and work with a supportive team across multiple partner schools. UK QTS and secondary DT experience are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS required and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school.
• Passion for supporting the progress of secondary pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 across ALP schools.
• Support pupil progression and attainment through high-quality teaching.
• Maintain safe and orderly learning environments and manage behaviour.
• Contribute to department and school-wide improvement initiatives.

The Role

Vision for Education is proud to be the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) and is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated DT Teacherto work across the Trust's secondary schools.

As the exclusive provider of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply staffing within ALP, we have regular opportunities available throughout the academic year.

Requirements

To be considered for the DT Teacherposition, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching DT Teacher within a secondary school
• A passion for supporting the progress of secondary school pupils
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
