This position qualifies for the Teacher Bonding Scheme (TBS). The eligible teacher recruited into this vacancy will receive annual payments accumulating to a maximum of $40,000 (before tax) after 5 years. See Teacher Bonding Scheme for more information.

An exciting opportunity is available for an outstanding teacher of technology who can teach up to level 3 in a well-resourced, progressive and innovative faculty, with a proven track record for outstanding results and scholarships.

We are looking for someone who has skills in the design technology area. Having experience in engineering, hard materials, product design or design technology is an advantage. The ideal candidate will be confident to teach from Year 9 to 13 using both NCEA and industry standards. Please state in your cover letter your areas of expertise.

The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to$103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
