Dunedin North Intermediate seeks a specialist Technology (and Science) teacher to join our team. This part-time, permanent role offers up to 0.6 FTE and focuses on Years 1-8 in a dedicated technology space (fabrics room).

Dunedin North Intermediate (DNI) is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable specialist teacher to join our technology staff based in our specialist learning space (currently our fabrics room). This position commences in 2027.

Our students experience 3 hours a week in "modules", a rotation of digitech, food technology, art, music, workshop and fabrics/bio-technology. Additionally, our modules staff teach our full primary schools two afternoons a week.

This position is created due to the retirement of a valued staff member who has successfully delivered a combination of fabrics technology and bio-technology (including growing edible plants). While this demonstrates the versatile potential of the role, we want to hear what you can offer.
