Job summary

InterContinental Wellington is seeking a motivated Demi Chef to join our culinary team. You will prepare, cook and present dishes to meet our quality and portion standards, while supporting a calm, collaborative service during peak hours.

You should have at least two years of kitchen experience, a strong eye for detail, and the flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and public holidays. Full training and hotel perks accompany a supportive IHG career development program.

YourDay to Day

As Demi Chef, you'll have the ability to provide innovative, authentic and enriching culinary experiences to our guests. You'llbe responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with our portion and quality standards. You will also be required to control food usage to minimize waste, maintain a clean, safe and tidy work environment and communicate with staff in other departments.

What We Need From You

• A strong team player attitude
• A minimum of 2years kitchen experience
• You’ll need to keep calm during the pressures of service,
• An eye for detail & a strong sense of urgency
