Job summary

Linde plc is hiring a delivery driver in New Zealand to safely transport LPG cylinders to homes and businesses. You will operate with a Class 2 licence and manual transmission, lifting heavy loads while prioritizing health and safety.

Training is provided, and you’ll work a Monday-to-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays. You will interact with customers face-to-face, use handheld delivery devices, and maintain a strong regional knowledge base to ensure timely, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence with at least 2 years delivery driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Physically fit due to heavy lifting involved.
• Handling dangerous goods requires attention to health and safety.
• Good knowledge of the region and ability to use handheld computer delivery equipment.
• Pass background checks: Criminal and ACC history, medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Job description

The role involves safely delivering LPG cylinders to customers. You'll need Class 2 driving experience and able to drive manual transmission.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will be delivering LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses around the region, interacting with customers face-to-face
• Working Monday to Friday starting at 6.30am, finishing no later than 5pm, with occasional Saturday work
• We will provide all the training and support you need to do the job and to help our customers with any questions
• $30.90 per hour, paid weekly
• Uniform and PPE will be provided, along with any training and qualifications required

What makes you great
