Job summary

Elgas Limited in New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Plant Operations Coordinator to ensure LPG cylinders are filled and refurbished to top safety and quality standards. You will oversee site safety, inductions, and incident response while supporting equipment upkeep and contractor activities.

You will monitor product quality, manage checklists, stocktakes, and reporting, fostering a collaborative, safety-first team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational or facility-based role.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Safety-conscious approach to problem solving.
• Clear communication with a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with LPG products and industry standards is an advantage.
