Job summary

Elgas Limited in New Zealand is seeking an LPG cylinder delivery driver to serve homes and businesses across the region. You will interact with customers face-to-face and start at 6.30am Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Training, PPE and uniforms are provided, and you will be paid $30.90 per hour, with weekly pay. Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence with at least 2 years’ delivery experience, be able to drive a manual transmission, be physically fit for heavy lifting and pass

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence with at least 2 years delivery driving experience and able to drive a manual transmission.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting.
• Able to handle dangerous goods with a strong commitment to health and safety.
• Good knowledge of the region and able to use handheld computer delivery equipment.
• Must pass background checks: Criminal/ACC history, medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses in the region, interacting with customers face-to-face.
