Fullers360 is seeking a deckhand with a clear pathway to skippership to join New Zealand’s largest public ferry operator. You will train and supervise crew, ensure top customer service, and lead safety on vessels as part of a rotating roster including weekends and holidays.
Must hold NZ SRL ticket with endorsements for vessels up to 24 meters, a seafarer medical, and a First Aid certificate. Two years in a similar role and strong presentation are required.

Reporting to the Crew Development Manager, you'll be an integral part of ensuring our crew are trained and operating at a high standard. Responsible for all deck duties on board, you'll also ensure the crew are trained and operating at a high standard. You'll be a real champion of the customer experience and motivate your crew to go above and beyond.
This role offers a direct pathway for career progression, with the opportunity to advance from Deckhand to Skipper. As a Maritime New Zealand-approved training provider, Fullers360 can also support you in gaining your SRL High Speed endorsement.

As Fullers operates 7 days a week, this position is on a rotating roster basis and will include some weekend shifts and public holidays. Due to the nature of shift work involved, applicants are required to have a full driver's licence and their own transport.
