Sigma Healthcare NZ is seeking an DC Operations Manager to lead a state-of-the-art, highly automated distribution centre serving a growing healthcare network across New Zealand.

You will drive daily operations, optimise automation and labour, uphold safety, manage inventory integrity and contribute to budgeting while mentoring teams to deliver exceptional service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics
• Proven success leading teams within a high-volume distribution or warehousing environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations and stock accuracy disciplines
• Demonstrated experience driving Health & Safety performance and culture
• Exposure to automated warehousing systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Leadership style aligned to Sigma's values: Customer Obsessed, Honest, Resilient and Results Focused

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Distribution Centre operations across all warehouse activities
• Maximise performance of automated systems and labour resources
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure SOPs and compliance
• Drive disciplined stock management and inventory accuracy
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to budgeting and planning
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and innovation
• Inspire, coach and develop Team Leaders and staff
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Transport, Inventory and Retail stakeholders
