A labouring role in Kerikeri, New Zealand, focused on loading containers with finished goods, receiving incoming goods, and signing for deliveries. You will operate processing equipment and mobile plant including FEL and forklifts, in a safety-conscious environment.
You will follow ESH, health, quality standards, assist with packing, packaging, and site maintenance, and participate in daily toolbox meetings. Training provided; ability to lift heavy loads and adapt to shift work is required.
On a Day Shift basis the loading of containers and trucks with Finished Goods products with related management of the finished goods stores. Taking delivery of Incoming Goods, checking goods against packing slips, and signing for them.
Chemical Stores, mixing bulk supplies in preparation for Process requirements.
The operation of processing equipment, mobile plant including FEL and forklifts, contributing to the production of halloysite products.
At all times being compliant with company Environmental Safety, Health, Quality and Operating standards and procedures.
Complete other laboring tasks as required from time to time that are associated with the production, packaging and dispatch of halloysite products and general site maintenance.
Assist in tasks pertaining to process and mining as required.
JOB SCOPE / DIMENSIONS
Work to instructions at all times to ensure finished goods products loading and management of the stores operates efficiently without compromise to ESH & Quality.
Work to instructions at all times to ensure incoming goods delivery and management of the stores operates efficiently without compromise to ESH & Quality.
Ensuring Process have the correct chemicals for production.
Work within the process team or with Rehabilitation of the Quarry in downtime.
Work to instructions at all times to ensure the process operates continuously and efficiently without compromise to ESH & Quality.
Complete training provided as it’s made available.
Complete every task with the correct PPE and worn correct.
Report any ESH & Quality directly to Process Team Leader, in their absence to the Production Manager or senior management.
Report any mechanical fault to Process Shift Supervisor and/or Shift Fitter.
Keep work area clean and safe.
Attend and contribute to Daily toolbox meetings.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Competent in the operation of processing equipment.
Competent in the use of mobile equipment including FEL and forklifts linked to the processing operation, packaging, storage and dispatch.
Sampling of process and final products.
Preparation and packaging of final products for dispatch ensuring all packaging is of the expected standard.
Report immediately any processing equipment failure, safety or quality hazard.
A commitment to good housekeeping; maintaining of the plant to a clean and safe environment.
Recycling of all packaging materials and disposal of waste.
Transporting and stacking of finished packaged products in stores.
Take delivery of incoming goods.
Mix chemicals to the agreed standard.
Loading of finished goods containers and trucks.
Loading of sand trucks or containers if required.
Participation in all EHS initiatives.
Complete general site maintenance especially during downturns in production demands.
Assist in tasks pertaining to process, including in the packing area as a team member and in the quarry for rehabilitation work as required.
OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS
Training will be provided but a general level of experience and competency working within an industrial or processing environment is required.
