Job summary

Persol in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused general labourer with forklift experience for a varied hands‑on role. You will operate a forklift, de‑bag and handle cement products, move materials around the site and support production and warehouse activities, including site cleaning.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, comfortable in a noisy dusty environment, safety‑conscious, reliable and punctual, and a team player willing to perform forklift and general labour

• Forklift operating experience.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Able to work in a noisy and dusty industrial environment.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete forklift and general labouring duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Hours and pay

• $25.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm
