• Minimum of one year’s experience as Breakfast Chef.
• A qualification or a Diploma in Culinary Arts.
• Understanding of Health and Safety, especially Wellington city food safety regulations.
• Passion for the food industry and ability to work under pressure.
• Planned and organised approach to work, fast-paced environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure breakfast is fully prepared and service-ready by 6.30am.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, temperature and availability during service.
• Live cooking and liaising with guests.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure adequate mis-en-place and stock for service.
• Rotate stock daily and keep fridges/freezers tidy.
