Job summary
Delegat Limited in Auckland is seeking a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to join the Corporate IT team. You will design, build and support data pipelines, lakehouse architecture and semantic models to transform operational data into trusted insights.
You’ll work with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, shaping a scalable analytics platform and partnering with stakeholders to drive business performance globally.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics roles.
- Strong SQL and cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Experience translating business requirements into data solutions.
- Excellent communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouse objects.
- Develop, maintain and support semantic models and Power BI solutions for self-service analytics.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Fabric workloads for performance and scalability.
- Translate business requirements into practical data solutions and insights.
- Support data governance with documentation, metadata, data quality and lineage.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Delegat's data and analytics capability.
- Provide operational support for data platforms.
- Improve data accessibility and quality across the organisation.
- Balance new development with ongoing support to keep data environment reliable.
