Job summary

Care on Call (NZ) Ltd is seeking a proactive Data Support Specialist who loves turning information into meaningful insights. You will help keep our systems up to date, support reporting requirements and ensure data quality across the organisation in a healthcare context.

Working with senior managers, you’ll gather requirements, write queries, and contribute to process improvements while collaborating with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to write queries, scripts, procedures and query optimization.
• Data privacy and data protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical problem solving to less technical teams (customer service, quality, accounting).
• Work with multiple datasets and applications, having multiple interfaces and third-parties.
• Perform data analytics on wide varieties of data.
• Analyze and prepare interpretations of data to use by management.
• Gather requirements with senior managers and contribute to test plans and project implementation.
• Define current workflows and build new ones.
• System maintenance and enhancements management.
• Continuous analysis of business processes and opportunities for improvements.
• Assist IT/business change events and provide backup for IT support.
