Job summary

Whakarongorau Aotearoa is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the National Cervical Screening Programme by ensuring the NCSP-R remains accurate and fit for purpose. You will analyze data, investigate issues, and drive improvements across data integrity and reporting to inform programme decisions.

You will collaborate with health system stakeholders, manage data quality initiatives, and contribute to better health outcomes for communities across Aotearoa.

Qualifications

• Experience with data in systems, including data validation and ensuring data quality.
• Ability to write queries and analyze data sets to identify trends and issues.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and reliability of NCSP-R information.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and quality assurance activities.
• Investigate system issues, data discrepancies, and root causes; propose corrective actions.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports and insights for operational and programme decision-making.
• Monitor system performance and risk flags; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide specialist data and system advice.
