Job summary

Jacanna Global Logistics, a New Zealand-owned freight forwarder, is expanding its customs team in Auckland. We welcome a skilled customs broker to manage general import/export entries, vehicle clearances, DOUs, carnets and AF9s, while supporting the team during peak periods.

You will collaborate with NZ Customs, MPI and overseas agents, contributing to a growing, hands-on team in a NZ-owned forwarder with a relaxed, straight-talking culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Registered–customs broker with hands-on entry experience.
• Solid grasp of tariff classification and MPI requirements.
• Accurate, detail-focused and quick to pick up new processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage general import/export entries and related duties.
• Handle foods imports from Japan/Europe and vehicle clearances where applicable.
• Serve as a trusted contact for customers, overseas agents, NZ Customs and MPI.
• Contribute to the wider team during leave and training periods.
