Job summary

Jacanna Global Logistics, a New Zealand-owned freight forwarder based in New Lynn, West Auckland, is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth and shape the sales function as the business expands. Reporting to the Group CEO, you will own strategic opportunities, major RFQs, and key client relationships across Jacanna's international network.

The role is hands-on, requiring you to remain active in the market, develop opportunities, and guide the BDM and key account teams toward revenue

Qualifications

• 10+ years' international freight forwarding experience with a strong sales background.
• 5+ years' experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Proven track record of winning and growing significant freight forwarding accounts.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight and RFQs/tenders.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and strategic growth across Jacanna Global Logistics.
• Develop and coach the sales team and key account management group.
• personally lead larger strategic opportunities and major RFQs/tenders.
• Build relationships with senior customers and international partners.
