Job summary

ASB Bank seeks a Customer Specialist for Hokitika to assist customers with everyday banking needs and promote digital and self-service options. This 25-hour-per-week role supports a busy branch, helping customers achieve their financial goals while building lasting relationships in the local community.

You’ll work Monday to Friday in a friendly, inclusive team, with chances to develop skills and progress within ASB Advice Centres.

No banking experience? No problem. We welcome applicants from retail, hospitality, or any customer-facing background. We’ll teach you the rest.

About the role

As a Customer Specialist, you’ll support customers with a range of everyday banking needs while helping them get the most out of our digital and self-service options.

You’ll work across multiple channels and play a key role in keeping the branch running smoothly, all while building meaningful customer relationships.

This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in our Hokitika branch.
