New World Broadway Palmerston North is seeking a Checkout Supervisor to lead and support our large Checkout Team, ensuring fast service and friendly customer care.

You will keep the tills ticking accurately, help train new staff, and step in during busy times. The role suits someone with retail or checkout experience and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Cash handling accuracy and POS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Checkout Team to ensure quick, accurate service.
• Coach and support team members during shifts.
• Maintain excellent customer interactions and store standards.

OurCheckout service needs to be fast & efficient but it also requires aquality level of interaction with customers and this role is vital to achievingthat. Given the nature of the work, thesuccessful applicant will be able to think on their feet and likely to havesome retail and/or Checkout experience.

Shiftsare as follows……

• Sunday – 10.00am to 7.00pm
• Monday – 9.15am to 6.15pm
• Tuesday – 9.15am to 6.15pm
• Wednesday – 9.15am to 6.15pm
• Thursday – 9.15am to 6.15pm
