Job summary

Jora New Zealand is hiring three Checkout Operators to join our busy front-end. You’ll process transactions, help customers, and keep the checkout area clean and well-organised.

We seek friendly, detail‑oriented team players who can stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing shifts. Previous cash handling or POS experience is preferred but not required. Apply quickly as we may close early.

We’re looking for 3 positive, reliable, and customer focused Checkout Operators to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in providing great service, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Checkout Operator, you’ll be the last point of contact for our customers. Your warm, friendly service helps create a welcoming shopping experience and keeps our front end running smoothly. You’ll process transactions accurately, assist with customer queries, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organised checkout area.

Days & Hours of Work:

Role 1: Full Time (40hrs)

• Tuesday: 10:30am – 7:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Saturday: 11:30am – 8:00pm

Role 2: Part Time (24hrs)

• Thursday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Saturday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Role 3: Part Time (24hrs)

• Monday: 11:00am – 7:30pm
• Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
