Job summary

Bapcor New Zealand Albany is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our HCB Albany team. If you have strong customer service skills, a full NZ license and a passion for car parts, this full-time role runs Monday to Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with alternate Saturday mornings.

You will serve trade customers, help them find the right parts, process orders accurately and look for upsell opportunities while building lasting relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, ideally automotive or trade.
• Basic computer skills; Excel knowledge advantageous.
• Interest in cars or vehicle parts.
• Strong communication and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep things accurate.
• Team-first approach - everyone pitches in.

Job Description

If you've got great customer service skills, a full NZ license and a passion for car parts, we've got the job for you!

We're on the lookout for a customer service superstar to join our team - someone who can not only deliver outstanding service but also help our customers choose the right parts to get the job done. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with alternate Saturday mornings.

What the role involves:

• Serving trade customers at the counter and over the phone
• Helping customers find the right vehicle parts and solutions
• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately
• Spotting opportunities to upsell or recommend related products
• Building strong relationships with our loyal customer base

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)
• Computer skills are amust(basic excel skills are advantageous)
• A genuine interest in cars, or parts
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep things accurate
