About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at SNAP Rentals, you’ll be one of the friendly faces helping our customers get on the road. From welcoming customers at the counter to handing over vehicles and helping resolve any issues, you’ll play an important part in creating a great rental experience.

We’re hiring for multiple full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities across a range of shifts. Your role will include:

• Deliver great customer experiences by welcoming customers, handling pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Manage the end-to-end rental process, including bookings, vehicle checks, rental agreements, extensions and returns.
• Keep our fleet looking its bestby grooming and preparing vehicles to a high standard, ready for the next hire
• Support day-to-day operations.Complete vehicle checks, follow processes, and keep the depot clean and organised
• Get behind the wheel and operate the courtesy shuttle when needed
• Use systems with confidence – working with rental car management software and internal tools to manage bookings, updates, and customer needs

Skills & Experience

• A full New Zealand driver licence.
• Previous customer service experience, with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a range of customers.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure, think on your feet and solve problems.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the team.
• Comfortable identifying opportunities to recommend additional products and services.
• Contactable referees required.

Car rental experience is an advantage but not essential - we’re keen to hear from people with the right attitude and customer service skills.
