Job summary

Snap Rentals in Queenstown is seeking a Customer Service Representative and Vehicle Groomer to welcome customers, hand over vehicles and ensure a great rental experience. This full-time role runs through the summer holidays with ample opportunity to learn the business and develop hands-on skills.

You will manage bookings, perform vehicle checks, groom cars to a high standard and help keep the depot clean. A full NZ driver license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A full New Zealand driver licence.
• Previous customer service experience, with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a range of customers.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure, think on your feet and solve problems.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the team.
• Comfortable identifying opportunities to recommend additional products and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer experiences by welcoming customers, handling pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Manage the end-to-end rental process, including bookings, vehicle checks, rental agreements, extensions and returns.
• Keep our fleet looking its best by grooming and preparing vehicles to a high standard, ready for the next hire
• Support day-to-day operations. Complete vehicle checks, follow processes, and keep the depot clean and organised
• Get behind the wheel and operate the courtesy shuttle when needed
• Use systems with confidence – working with rental car management software and internal tools to manage bookings, updates, and customer needs

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative and Vehicle Groomer at SNAP Rentals, you’ll be one of the friendly faces helping our customers get on the road. From welcoming customers at the counter to handing over vehicles and helping resolve any issues, you’ll play an important part in creating a great rental experience.

A full-time commitment throughout the summer holiday period is non-negotiable, so we’re looking for someone who is available and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll also need a full, valid driver’s licence and be comfortable spending most of your day on your feet.
