Job summary

Snap Rentals in New Zealand is seeking a Customer Service Representative and Vehicle Groomer to welcome customers, process bookings, check vehicles and ensure a smooth rental experience.

You will groom vehicles to high standards, assist with the courtesy shuttle, and manage end-to-end rentals while supporting daily operations in a friendly team. A NZ driver license and strong customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• NZ driver licence (full or valid equivalent) required.
• Previous customer service experience with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Strong communication skills and confidence with a range of customers.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and solve problems.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the counter and assist with pickups and drop-offs to ensure a smooth process.
• Manage end-to-end rental process including bookings, vehicle checks, and returns.
• Groom and prepare vehicles to a high standard for the next hire.
• Support day-to-day operations and keep the depot clean and organised.
• Safely operate the courtesy shuttle when needed and follow internal processes.

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative and Vehicle Groomer at SNAP Rentals, you’ll be one of the friendly faces helping our customers get on the road. From welcoming customers at the counter to handing over vehicles and helping resolve any issues, you’ll play an important part in creating a great rental experience.

Your role will include:

• Deliver great customer experiences by welcoming customers, handling pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Manage the end-to-end rental process, including bookings, vehicle checks, rental agreements, extensions and returns.
• Keep our fleet looking its bestby grooming and preparing vehicles to a high standard, ready for the next hire
• Support day-to-day operations.Complete vehicle checks, follow processes, and keep the depot clean and organised
• Get behind the wheel and operate the courtesy shuttle when needed
• Use systems with confidence – working with rental car management software and internal tools to manage bookings, updates, and customer needs

• A full New Zealand driver licence.
• Previous customer service experience, with a genuine passion for helping people.
