Job summary

Bapcor Limited is seeking a customer service specialist for a full-time role in Ashburton to help customers choose the right car parts and provide outstanding service.

Responsibilities include counter and phone support, order processing, and upselling items while building strong customer relationships. The role operates Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with alternate Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in automotive or trade is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Excel are advantageous.
• Genuine interest in cars or parts.

Job Description

If you’ve got great customer service skills, a full NZ license and a passion for car parts, we’ve got the job for you!

We’re on the lookout for a customer service superstar to join our team – someone who can not only deliver outstanding service but also help our customers choose the right parts to get the job done. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8 am – 5 pm) with alternate Saturday mornings.

What The Role Involves

• Serving trade customers at the counter and over the phone
• Helping customers find the right vehicle parts and solutions
• Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately
• Spotting opportunities to upsell or recommend related products
• Building strong relationships with our loyal customer base

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)
• Computer skills are a must (basic excel skills are advantageous)
• A genuine interest in cars, or parts
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep things accurate
