Job summary

Asmuss is seeking a friendly, proactive Call Centre & Customer Service professional to join our Christchurch team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email and in person, helping with quotes, orders and product information.

You’ll work with a supportive team, receive training, and have opportunities to grow. Previous sales or customer service experience is welcome, but eagerness to learn and a can‑do attitude matter most.

• Excellent communication skills with a professional, approachable manner.
• Previous sales or customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• A proactive, positive attitude and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
• Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• A team-first mindset, willingness to learn and a good sense of humour.

Job Category: Call Centre & Customer Service

At Asmuss, you'll be at the heart of our branch operation, supporting customers, working alongside our sales team, and helping deliver exceptional service every day.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. One minute you'll be helping a walk-in customer, the next you'll be processing quotes, supporting a Sales Representative on the road, or solving a customer query. It can get busy, but you'll be surrounded by a supportive team that works together and backs each other up.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in getting things done, and genuinely cares about providing great service. Industry experience is helpful, but not essential. If you're eager to learn, we'll provide the support and training to help you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing
