Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Gisborne to deliver exceptional service for customer inquiries, bill payments, NZTA transactions and parcel handling. The role requires friendly interaction across in-person, phone and email channels.

You will cover Monday to Friday 1pm-5pm and Saturdays 8am-10am, with some heavy lifting and fast problem-solving. This on-call position supports peak periods while balancing work and life.

Qualifications

• Deliver an exceptional level of service to manage customer inquiries, requests or concerns.
• Champion NZ Post products and services including bill payment and NZTA transactions.
• Interact with customers face to face, on the phone and via email.

Responsibilities

• Process mail, scan freight and small packages for couriers; some heavy lifting may be required.
• Provide information and assist customers with sending parcels locally and internationally.
• Contribute to the growth and prosperity of Aotearoa through reliable service.

Our Customer Service Representativees deliver an exceptional level of service to manage inquiries, requests or concerns from customers. You'll champion our products and services, such as bill payment, NZTA transactions and assist with sending parcels across New Zeland and the world. As an NZ Post expert, you'll provide suggestions and access inform..ation for our customers. You'll process mail, scan freight and small packages from our couriers, so some heavy lifting will be required.Each day is busy and varied and will see you developing your problem-solving skills. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.
Our On Call Customer Service Representatives are an essential part of our business as we call on them to assist us as and when required. You might be called in to cover illness, extended leave or help us our during our peak delivery periods. It's a great way to balance work and lifestyle!
