Job summary

NZ Post at the Wiri site in Auckland seeks a Site Support Specialist to keep our busy operation running smoothly. You will be the central point for admin, reception and coordination, supporting leaders, employees, visitors and contractors across health and safety, facilities and training functions.

The role covers onboarding, supplier coordination and day-to-day operational support in a fast-paced environment, working Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 2.30 pm, with flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing administration, reception and coordination support to keep the site running smoothly
• Supporting visitors and contractors onsite, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
• Coordinating onboarding, training and employee development programmes for new and existing team members
• Supporting health, safety, wellbeing and compliance initiatives across the site
• Managing purchase orders, site supplies, stationery and PPE requirements
• Partnering with leaders to support facilities, resources and day-to-day operational needs

At NZ Post, we're proud to connect New Zealanders with what matters most. Our Wiri site is a fast-paced environments where people, processes and operations all need to come together seamlessly. As a Site Support Specialist, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of one of our processing sites, ensuring our people, visitors and leaders have the support they need to succeed.

You'll be the central point of coordination for a wide range of site activities, supporting leaders, employees, visitors and contractors. From administration and reception through to health and safety, facilities coordination and training support, this is a varied role where you'll get exposure to many parts of the business and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact every day. To ensure support is available across our operational hours, this role works 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, however flexibility will be required from time to time.

This role is critical for providing our Facilities Manager with hands on support, ensuring the site remains a safe environment for our people to work in. You'll do that by

You may have experience in administration, customer service, reception, safety and wellbeing, facilities coordination or another support-focused role. More importantly, you're proactive, approachable and enjoy helping others while keeping things organised and on track. You thrive in a role with variety, can confidently juggle competing priorities, and take pride in delivering great support and service to the people around you.
