Avis Budget Group, Invercargill Airport, is seeking a Rental Operations Agent for a part-time role at Invercargill Airport. You will handle front and back-of-house operations, assist customers, process rentals, and ensure vehicles are ready for customers.

The position requires a full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence, and offers a supportive team culture with full training and employee discounts. Shifts include evenings and weekends to cover 7 days of operation.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence required.
• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and promote products and services.
• Process rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, and drive/park vehicles.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles in the wash bay to prepare them for customers.

Customer Service & Operations Agent (Part-Time)

Best of both world where you are not just sitting behind a desk all day! Based at Invercargill Airport,we have a Part-Time, 20-hours per week position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.

We operate 7 days a week, from 7 am to 8.30 pm where we we are looking to fill the following shift:

Monday 1600-2030

Tuesday 1600-2030

Friday 1600-2030

Sunday 0830-1700

About the Role

As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.

On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.

What we are looking for:

Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.

Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.

Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)

Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
