Job summary

New Zealand Couriers Limited in Auckland is seeking a Fixed Term Customer Services Representative to join our Penrose branch. You will handle customer enquiries, coordinate freight, and support operations in a busy team environment.

Requirements include contact centre experience, strong phone and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. The role runs Mon-Fri 9:30–18:00 with occasional Saturday mornings; term until 28 May 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contact Centre/Call Centre is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional style.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person.
• Track freight and provide timely updates to customers.
• Investigate and resolve service issues and questions.
• Process bookings, freight requests and customer information accurately.
• Assist with damaged, delayed or misdirected freight.
• Inspect freight, report damage and assist with repacks as needed.
• Support operational activities including sorting, scanning and processing.
• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Distribution and Sales teams to achieve positive outcomes.
