Job summary

BNZ is seeking a customer service-focused team member to engage with customers across Leeston, Rolleston and Hornby branches. You will handle transactional banking needs, update personal details, and assist with product enquiries, while educating customers on digital tools to help reach their financial goals.

The role requires a customer-first attitude, energy in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn and grow within the branch network across Canterbury. Full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Customer-focused mindset essential
• Willingness to learn, grow and challenge the status quo
• Ability to bring energy to a fast-paced role
• Must be available full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri across Leeston, Rolleston and Hornby

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Process customers' transactional banking needs
• Update customers' personal details and identification
• Assist with general product and service enquiries
• Recommend solutions that add value and help customers achieve their financial goals
• Educate customers on online platforms, tools and digital solutions
• Work across the Leeston, Rolleston and Hornby branches
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve branch success and support shared goals
