Job summary

Avis Budget Group's busy Auckland Airport location is seeking a Vehicle Return Agent to be the first point of contact for customers. This casual, on-demand role involves greeting customers, checking-in returns, guiding them through the process, and ensuring vehicles are prepared for the next rental.

You will perform vehicle inspections, document any damages, input mileage and fuel levels, and provide directions when needed.

• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Job description

Our busy Auckland Airport location is looking for assistance with our operations. We are looking for what we call a Vehicle Return Agent to be our first point of contact to our customers! Casual position available - working as an when needed but ideally has availability between 6 am to 8 pm Auckland Airport based Large international company with opportunity to move internally Entry level position with training provided Supportive, friendly and caring culture

About the Role

You, as our Vehicle Return Agent will be responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner, greeting our customers upon their arrival at our rental location and assisting with the check-in of the renter’s vehicle. You will also conduct vehicle inspections and prepare the vehicle for the next rental. From time to time, you may also be responsible for providing assistance with directions and travel information, and for resolving customer complaints and issues.

• Help expedite the rental car return process with exceptional customer services to get customers on their way as quickly as possible.
• Assess vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.
• Review returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometers while accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices when needed.

What we are looking for

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information.

We work 7-days a week, Monday to Sunday from 06.00 to 22.00, in this position we would look for you to work as and when needed during our operating hours which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
