Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Auckland is seeking a casual Vehicle Service Agent to help keep our fleet looking like new. You will work on a flexible schedule at Auckland Airport, with training provided and uniform/parking included.

The role involves inspecting, cleaning, and preparing vehicles, reporting any damages, and ensuring fuel and fluid levels are up to standards. The team culture is supportive and welcoming, with opportunities for internal progression.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid Class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous hands-on or physical labour experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle interiors and exteriors by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming returned vehicles.
• Assess vehicles for new damages and report per damage procedures.
• Input vehicle gas levels and kilometres into handheld devices accurately.
• Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels and tyre conditions including pressure and tread depth.

• Casual position available - working as and when needed

As we operate 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday from 6 am to 10 pm for this casual role we would need you to work as and when needed during in our operating hours. That means you could be scheduled to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

About The Role

As a key component to our operations, you will be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles
• Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per our vehicle damage procedure.
• Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices as required
• Refuelling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth.
