INFLITE Group in Mount Cook is seeking a Customer Service and Ground Operations Crew member to support base operations in Canterbury. This full-time role requires delivering excellent guest service and assisting with day-to-day operations at our Mt Cook base.

As a Customer Service and Ground Operations Crew member at Mount Cook Ski Planes and Helicopters you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations at our base in Aoraki Mount Cook, Canterbury. This is a full-time role that will see you working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing to the overall success of our business.
What you'll be doing
Customer Service
Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
Manage check-ins, bookings, and customer enquiries (in person, phone, and email)
Provide clear and accurate information about flights, safety procedures, and weather conditions
Process payments and maintain booking systems
Ensure a high standard of presentation in customer areas
Assist with loading and unloading passengers safely on ski planes and helicopters
Provide safety briefings and ensure passengers are correctly equipped
Marshal aircraft and maintain awareness of apron safety procedures
Handle cargo efficiently and carefully
Support pilots and operations team to ensure smooth turnaround of aircraft
Assist with general duties

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality-related role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
A positive, energetic, and adaptable attitude, with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of the local area and attractions, or a willingness to learn
A valid driver's licence.
