Glenorchy Air is looking for a Flight & Ground Operations Coordinator to join our Queenstown-based aviation team. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role where no two days are the same and where customer experience and teamwork are everything.
You’ll be the friendly, organized face of our operation - supporting guests, assisting flight operations, and helping ensure every scenic flight runs smoothly from the ground up.
As part of our flight coordinator & operations team, you’ll work closely with all areas of the business including pilots, operations staff, and customers to deliver safe, seamless, and memorable scenic flight experiences.

Greeting and assisting customers before and after flights
Managing check‑ins, bookings, and customer enquiries
Coordinating passengers, flight schedules and aircraft loadings
Supporting pilots and operations staff on the ground
Handling phone and email communications
Completing daily admin and operational tasks
Maintaining a calm, organized front‑of‑house environment
Delivering an above‑and‑beyond customer experience
Checking booking details are accurate to ensure flight experiences go off without a hitch.

Scenic flight or aviation experience preferred or the ability to pick up processes fast
Minimum of 2 years driving experience with Full NZ license, eligible for Passenger Endorsement as driving is a part of this role.

Experience in tourism, scenic flights, and or adventure activities with a logistics coordinator is highly regarded, but full training will be provided.
Strong customer service experience

NZ resident or citizen, or legal working rights (sponsorship not available)
Scenic flight or aviation tourism experience is preferred
