Job summary

Totally Tourism, Franz Josef on the West Coast, is seeking a full-time operational assistant for The Helicopter Line's Franz Josef operations. You will support flight following, load/unload gear, and drive courtesy vans while helping customers with bookings and inquiries.

Ideal candidates have strong logistical and problem-solving abilities, respect health and safety, and hold a full clean driver’s license for both automatic and manual vehicles. NZ citizenship or valid work visa required.

Qualifications

• Logistical and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in aviation tourism is preferable.
• Sound work ethic and motivation for delivering a fantastic customer experience.
• A full clean driver’s license with both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Flexible with working hours.
• H&S experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• A First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential.
• NZ Citizens or valid work visas only.

Responsibilities

• Flight following, loading helicopters, driving courtesy vans.
• Dealing with general enquiries and bookings.
• Providing a safe and enjoyable guest experience in a heli-tour environment.

This full time positionis based on the West Coast.
