Job summary

Instant Tech Solutions Ltd is seeking two customer-focused ICT Support Technicians to join our Hawke's Bay team (Napier area) on a full-time basis. Salary is NZ$27–34 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and weekend rosters.

Roles are based in Hawke's Bay stores, with duties covering software/hardware setup, repair, front-desk assistance and phone support. A successful applicant will be a team player with strong communication skills, able to work a flexible roster, and possess basic

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience or minimum level 4 qualification in IT or related field.
• Basic computer skills and experience with customer service software.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install or configure software and drivers on devices.
• Set up and test hardware or software for devices like laptops, computers, Macs, smartphones, iPads and tablets to resolve faults.
• Repair and troubleshoot devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
• Attend front desk to create new tickets and assist in sales support.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
• Continuously improve knowledge of products and services.
• Multitask and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
