Job summary

Taspac Energy is a New Zealand wholesale distributor of solar PV and energy storage products. Based at our Hobsonville head office, you’ll ensure customer orders run smoothly, manage stock updates, and keep teams informed across sales and warehouses.

The role blends customer-facing work with supply coordination and requires strong ERP/CRM skills. You’ll liaise with the Sales Manager, warehouse teams, Suppliers and freight forwarders, sending purchase orders and tracking shipments to keep

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing coordination, sales support or supply chain role
• Strong customer service skills: you build good relationships and customers trust you to keep them informed
• Strong systems skills: ERP/inventory system and CRM daily
• High accuracy: you check your work, and you catch errors on orders, POs and invoices before they cause problems
• Ownership: you follow issues through to resolution, and you flag problems early and know when to escalation
• The ability to balance the needs of customers, Sales and the warehouse, and to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for customer calls and sales order enquiries
• Processing sales orders and B2B e-commerce orders, and coordinating fulfilment with the Auckland and Christchurch warehouses
• Keeping customers informed on stock availability, backorders and delivery timing
• Raising and sending approved purchase orders, and following up suppliers on production and dispatch dates
• Coordinating international freight through to our Auckland and Christchurch warehouses
• Tracking inbound shipments and keeping Sales, Ops and Warehouse updated
• Keeping orders, shipment ETAs and customer information up to date in our systems, so the whole team can see where things are at
