Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking a Despatch Coordinator to join our Gisborne team. In this key support role, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, schedule daily work for operators, and help keep runs on track.

You’ll coordinate driver activities, respond to customer enquiries, and communicate effectively to minimise delays while building lasting client relationships. Applicants based in New Zealand with a valid work visa or citizenship are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and effective time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
• Schedule daily work for operators and monitor run sheets.
• Coordinate driver activities and sign off on run sheets.
• Maintain strong client relationships and proactively notify clients of operational delays.
