Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA’s Building Materials Distribution Centre in New Zealand is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator to keep deliveries moving and orders accurate. You’ll coordinate daily schedules, plan routes and work with drivers, warehouse staff and trade teams to ensure on-time dispatch while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You’ll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, warehousing or coordination is preferable

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and orders.
• Plan efficient routes and maximise vehicle utilisation.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff and trade teams to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Ensure orders are picked, processed, documented and dispatched.
• Monitor deliveries and respond to changes or customer enquiries.
• Help resolve delivery issues with the appropriate teams.
• Assist with planning the following day’s dispatch requirements.
• Maintain dispatch records and delivery documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.

A bit about the role…

We’re looking for a proactive Dispatch Coordinator reporting to Dispatch Supervisor to join our BuildingMaterials Distribution Centre. You’ll coordinate daily deliveryschedules, plan efficient routes and work with drivers, warehouse staff andtrade teams to ensure customer orders arrive accurately and on time.

This is ahands-on role for someone who enjoys organising moving parts, solving problemsquickly and making a visible difference to the customer experience.

You’ll be responsible for:
