Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Customer Specialist to join the St Lukes Advice Centre and help customers with everyday banking needs, creating friendly, helpful experiences. You don’t need banking experience to apply. If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality or customer service, bring your energy and desire to learn.

You’ll use digital tools and support customers across channels in a busy team. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, on a rostered basis Monday to Sunday, based at St Lukes Advice

Qualifications

• No banking experience required; suitable for candidates from retail, hospitality or customer service.
• Positive, customer-first attitude and energy.
• Curious, confident asking questions and eager to learn.
• Comfortable with technology and helping others build digital confidence.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our customers and understand their needs.
• Help with a range of everyday banking enquiries.
• Support customers to use digital and self-service options.
• Work across channels and contribute to the Advice Centre.
