Job summary

Bapcor Limited in Auckland is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This role manages the accounts receivable ledger, drives collections targets, reduces debtor risk, and supports branch and sales teams across the business with robust credit policy adherence.

You will collaborate with Branch Managers, Sales Teams and external partners to resolve queries, prepare debtor reports, and maintain accurate payment processing while upholding our credit control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing debtor accounts and collections processes.
• Knowledge of credit risk management and policy adherence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and contact overdue balances to meet collection targets.
• Monitor aged debtors, focusing on 60 and 90-day balances.
• Manage credit holds, stop accounts, and payment arrangements with timely follow-up.
